Ag Equipment Operator/Farmer

Looking for a Farm Operator/Hand on a large dryland grain farm in North Central Montana. Proximity to Glacier National Park and also a variety of outdoor pursuits, including hunting and fishing opportunities. Less than an hour from an International Airport.

Job encompasses all aspects of raising small grains including wheat, barley, peas, and canola.

Daily tasks will include seeding, spraying, harvesting, trucking, maintenance/repairs on machines/vehicles and construction/maintenance of farm infrastructure. Machinery is late model John Deere, Case IH, Bourgault, and Macdon etc. Candidate will be utilizing GPS and other technology such as Pro 700/1200, Raven Viper and Topcon for tracking yields & work done and must be comfortable learning/using multiple systems. A CDL is not required, but we would assist an employee seeking to obtain. 

Strong candidates have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the abilitiy to pivot swiftly between tasks. We are looking for someone trustworthy who can operate a piece of equipment while also managing their own support team.  

Housing and a work vehicle may be available for the right candidate.
