JOB TITLE: AGRONOMY SALES

***BASE SALARY: $80,000 PLUS INCENTIVIZED BONUSES TO $40,000 ANNUALLY***

ABOUT EMPLOYER AND AREA: Employer is a Long-Established Multi-Site Ag Retailer and Service Provider located in rural Eastern Nebraska. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2- or 4-year Agronomy degree preferred
- Up to 3 years crop scouting, pest and weed identification, and providing Agronomy services and recommendations preferred; Employer will consider a new College Graduate with summer Agronomy internships
- Good knowledge/understanding of eastern Nebraska cropping systems and crop inputs, especially seed brands used in area
- Experience calling on Ag growers at their operations, listening to their needs, analyzing cropping solutions and making solid crop inputs and agronomic services recommendations preferred but not required
- Precision Ag knowledge/experience beneficial
- Heavily focused on excellent customer service
- Willing to step in to most any agronomy operation as a contributing Team Member to help get the job at hand done
- Applicator license, or ability to obtain with assistance of Employer
- CDL, or ability to obtain with assistance of Employer
- Self-Directed and Performance-Driven
- Excellent computer and communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Ag Retailer/Service Provider in identifying/hiring an Agronomy Salesperson for their location in Eastern Nebraska. Primary role for this individual will be working directly with Ag growers to analyze their cropping systems, make solid agronomic recommendations regarding crop inputs and services and continue providing excellent customer service to the patrons of the business. Other duties to include: becoming the "go-to-person" for Seed varieties, mixing Ag chemicals, coordinating spray orders, making sure loads are properly mixed and loaded, hopping into a sprayer if needed, treating seed, hopping into a delivery truck if needed, and other agronomic duties or services as necessary to keep the operation running smoothly.

This individual will report directly to the Agronomy Manager and VP of Agronomy.
