POSITION SUMMARY:
Th is position is responsible for directing projects and initiatives at a Processing Plant and Live Operations across a Complex of the Comp any. Working closely with the o perations t eams as well as Support departments including but not li mited to s afety, human resources, food safety and quality assurance, e ngineering, p lant operations p ersonnel , live operations and upper m anagement .

R esponsibility:
Lives and reinforces Safety as a condition in all activities
Leads assigned facility's Management Method efforts by functioning as a business partner with each Pillar owner.
Responsible for proactively working with facility management to identify and assess KPI gaps, and lead continuous improvement projects using Operational Excellence methodologies .
Develop and manage process improvements for achieving measurable efficiency, cost reduction, variation reduction, flow optimization o r performance improvement gains.
Co-own the Management Pillar implementation by teaching all its tools, training personnel, serving as support and continuously improving the materia l to support the location.

Update and analyze key metrics for the assigned complex or business unit .
Leads self-assessment activities for Management Method.
Develop and train process owners with methods for continuous improvement and control as new processes are implemented.
Support with working knowledge of labor standards principles, time studies and labor reports , a nd facilitate the sharing of best practices throughout the company networ k .
In conjunction with the other members of the Operational Excellence management team, participate of meetings as required.
Education:
Undergraduate Degree , (Prefer Engineering, Science, or B usiness focus)
Experience:
2 - 5 years manufacturing industry experience (preferably in poultry)
At least 1 year in Pilgrim's
Background in ZBB or production
Willingness to relocate.
Availability to travel to learn and/or support in other Pilgrim's locations.
Ability to work any hours as needed, flexible to work various shifts.

Base Salary range of $70,488.00 +/- based on experience
