As a Credit Analyst at AgCarolina Farm Credit, you'll play a key role in evaluating credit packages, supporting sound lending decisions, and contributing to the financial health of our Association. You'll work independently while collaborating with senior staff and loan officers, all within a culture that values mentorship, candid conversations, attention to detail, and timely decision-making-in service of agriculture and rural communities.
What You'll Do:
Analyze financial data to assess creditworthiness and identify strengths and weaknesses in complex credit packages (typically $2.5M+)
Prepare complete loan packages, including projections and documentation, independently
Evaluate risk in loan transactions and recommend appropriate actions
Perform account monitoring and ensure borrower data is securely maintained
Collaborate with Agribusiness loan officers and senior staff to support lending decisions
Participate in training and professional development as scheduled
Communicate recommendations clearly and confidently to peers and leadership

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, agricultural economics, or related field
0-2 years of credit analysis experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills
Ability to be assertive and decisive in making sound business decisions
Capability to handle high-stress situations professionally
Full understanding of the 5 C's of credit: Capacity, Capital, Conditions, Character, and Collateral
Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows
Quick learner, adaptable, and strong problem solver
Ability to work independently under general supervision
Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration

Internal candidates must have at least 2 years of Farm Credit experience, a Fully Successful rating or higher on their most recent performance review and have been in their current role for at least 2 years before applying.
