Job Description

Digital Content Producer (Web Governance & QA) - Chicago, IL

What you will be doing

We're looking for a Digital Content Producer (Web Governance & QA) who takes pride in clean builds and zero-defect publishes. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Brand, you'll enforce component-library usage and design/brand governance, manage pre-publish QA and post-publish checks, and keep redirects and deactivations tidy so our information architecture stays healthy. You'll work across a global, multi-language Optimizely stack at scale (~500 pages, 4 languages, ~75 components) and help maintain a steady two-speed cadence with clear quality gates. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Global Headquarters in downtown Chicago, IL.

On any given week, you'll validate links and metadata, check alt text and headings for WCAG 2.2 AA alignment, and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues quickly. You'll coordinate TransPerfect handoffs and spot checks, liaise with IR to ensure timely Q4 updates for regulated content, and respect approval workflows-including legal/compliance for specific markets (e.g., China). When work exceeds content/config scope, you'll package perfect repro steps and escalate code-level items to GT/delivery partners.

If you love checklists, pattern discipline, and the feeling of catching issues before they ship, this is your lane. Bring a calm, organized approach, strong communication, and a bias to pattern over bespoke.

How you'll perform the role
  • Enforce component-first patterns; keep content aligned to design/brand governance and CMS standards
  • Run pre-publish QA (links, metadata, alt text, basic a11y) and post-publish spot checks; track fixes via the SLA board
  • Manage redirects, deactivations, and orphan-page cleanup; maintain tidy internal linking
  • Coordinate TransPerfect translation handoffs and glossary/term-base adherence; liaise with IR to ensure timely Q4 updates for regulated content
  • Respect approval workflows (incl. China legal/compliance) before publish; escalate any code-level a11y/performance issues to GT
  • Hold scope boundaries: exclude personalization, A/B testing, platform-led lead gen
What you will bring to the team
  • 3-5+ years web/content production with hands-on QA in Optimizely or similar CMS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, cross-browser/device checks (e.g., BrowserStack), and link/media hygiene; comfort with aXe/WAVE and broken-link tools
  • Organized, detail-focused, steady under shifting priorities; strong stakeholder communication and ticket hygiene (JIRA-style)
  • Commitment to integrity, safety, inclusion, and quality
Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed? We encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another one of our openings.

ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
