YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of this role, Digital Engagement Lead-Southwest, IL, are to: 

 

  • Provide on-farm expertise to assist our key customers install and troubleshoot Bayer’s precision agriculture technologies, manage data collection/mapping challenges, diagnose and resolve connectivity issues (eg FieldViewDrive) and/or educate growers on Bayer’s Digital Farming Solutions portfolio;
  • Lead and influence other members of the squad to increase digital acumen and enable customer acquisition, retention, engagement and digital revenue through solution selling through FieldView and New Business Models;
  • Identify transformative farmers, dealer and retailers for digital trial and testing opportunities;
  • Deep expertise on current digital software (FieldView, DMP) and hardware (FieldView Drive) and on farm compatibility and set-up;
  • Provide leadership & insights to Digital and Crop Mission Teams on customer needs and features in development;
  • Development of use cases of existing and new features and training of these to squad members;
  • Training of FSR’s/dealers to data driven agronomic decision making with FieldView;
  • Support key customers on data acquisition and clean-up;
  • Train squad members and dealers on execution of NBM workflow Identify and lead key improvement areas across digital platforms to optimize internal processes and external grower experience;

 

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

 

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence and motivate key stakeholders;

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working closely with seed/chem sellers, growers and sales organization;
  • 8+ years working experience in agriculture and/or digital field;
  • Expertise on digital software (FieldView, DMP), hardware, farm equipment compatibility and set-up, data collection, and use of data-driven features such as reports and scripting;
  • Minium of 5+ years experience within digital agricultural platforms;

 

 

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $100,818.40 - $151,227.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).  Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
