The purpose of this position is to decrease DSI maintenance spend and increase uptime in company - wide DSI departments. This position will support plant operations in DSI performance and maintenance, to include uptime and cost. It will also assist production in utilizing proper programming and technology to increase efficiency, reduce trim and meet customer expectations. The position will work with engineering, production and QA in new installation and starts ups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing effective and efficient DSI process controls to allow for maximum production Performance Company wide.
Initiate innovative changes to improve process flow while increasing quality standards to meet customer satisfaction.
Continuous review of new technologies to ensure most efficient performance of DSI equipment
Collaboratively work with operations, production, QA and maintenance to maintain optimum performance, efficiencies and quality standards.
Review labor and efficiency costs to determine potential opportunities for process improvements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required - Undergraduate Degree, (Prefer Business focus, engineering, or science )
Must have strong cost analysis skills to include labor, production, equipment and engineering.
Must have extensive knowledge of all DSI machinery and processes.
Must be able to travel within the company to all locations with DSI operations.
Must have strong communication and presentation skills.
