Job Opportunity: Agricultural Work in the United States (H-2A Visa Program)
We are recruiting qualified workers from Mexico and Belize to join farms across the United States under the H-2A Temporary Agricultural Worker Program.
Position Details
- Hourly Pay: Varies by state (based on the state's Adverse Effect Wage Rate)
- Housing: Provided at no cost
- Transport: Provided to and from the worksite
- Visa & Flight Costs: Reimbursed by the U.S. employer as required under H-2A law
- Work Environment: Outdoor agricultural work, variable weather, physical labor required
Preferred Experience
- We are looking for candidates with skills or background in any of the following areas:
- Mechanical experience (maintenance of tractors, machinery, farm equipment)
- Electrical experience
- Cotton gin or similar plant operation experience
- Irrigation installation or maintenance
- Cattle and livestock handling
Language Requirement
Bilingual Preferred: Must speak English and Spanish
Eligibility
- Must be eligible for the H-2A visa program
- Must be physically capable of performing farm work
Important Information About Fees
- Do I have to pay agent fees? No.
- H-2A legislation strictly prohibits charging workers any recruitment or agent fees. You should not pay any agent for an H-2A job.
- Are any costs refundable? Yes. Under H-2A rules:
- Your visa costs must be reimbursed by the employer in the United States.
- Travel expenses to reach the job (up to the point required by the program) must also be reimbursed by the employer.
