QUALIFICATIONS:

- Person needs good experience running row crop and forage equipment
- Equipment operations and routine maintenance experience is a must
- Assist in planting through harvest
- Trucking experience preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Assistant for this Nebraska producer. We are seeking a highly motivated, honest, and dependable individual with a broad range of skills in crop production, equipment operations and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently as well as part of a team and must be adaptable to the seasonal demands of the operation.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating tractors and a variety of row-crop and haying equipment
• Performing tasks related to fertilizing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops
• Monitoring equipment for malfunctions and performing maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles and implements as needed
• Assisting with hay feeding during the winter months
• Supporting general farm operations as required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience driving trucks
• Basic welding skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with others
