JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Kansas producer in finding a skilled and dependable Farm Production Assistant. This operation is seeking a highly motivated, honest, and reliable individual with a solid crop production background. A candidate with strong interest and experience in crop production is ideal; however, the employer values someone diversified and willing to pitch in across all areas of the farm.

Primary duties include operating late-model row-crop equipment for fertilizing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting. The right person will be able to recognize equipment issues, listen for mechanical problems, diagnose malfunctions, and assist with routine maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles and implements.

Additional responsibilities include helping with hay feeding during the winter months and assisting with the cow/calf herd as needed. Truck driving experience is preferred, especially for hauling grain or equipment, and welding skills are a plus.

The employer needs someone who can work both independently and alongside the team, communicating clearly and sharing important information throughout the operation.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for the right person who wants to grow with a progressive Kansas farm!
