Full Time Flight Line Professional Seneca Flight Operations is an aircraft charter company and is the Fixed Base Operator based at the Penn Yan Airport. We have been in business since 1956 and operate all aspects of the airport including mowing in the summer, plowing runways and taxiways in the winter and airport maintenance on airport buildings, lights and infrastructure.
We currently have a full-time flight line position available. Duties include but not limited to maintaining aircraft and airport facilities, meeting customer needs with our Hertz car rental program, fuel quality control and providing superior service to customers. Hours vary based on need and will include evenings and weekends. The candidate must have the ability to operate a computer and the ability to be trained on proprietary Hertz Rental car software. The candidate must have a valid NYS driver license (preferably Class B or C but not required) and will have the ability to operate the following equipment:
Candidate will be required to learn FAA requirements for airport fueling operations including proper fuel maintenance and receiving techniques. Candidate must have ability to do limited work on fleet aircraft under the strict supervision and direction of certified aircraft mechanics.
Since we are a certified Part 135 Air charter carrier and safety is our #1 goal, we require pre-employment drug testing and random drug and alcohol screening while employed.
To best service the needs of our customers, the candidate should live within 30 minutes of the airport as there are instances that require a call in during evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
