Overview

Students studying irrigation gain skills and knowledge surrounding the installation and effectiveness of agricultural and turf water systems. This degree program is often a minor or a certificate program that accompanies a degree such as turfgrass management or science, landscape architecture, crop science, or agronomy. However, it is also a stand-alone degree and certificate program in community colleges and there are instances of irrigation engineering Bachelor’s degree programs.
