Job Description
Transport poultry products in packaged form to and from (as necessary) specified destinations, such as restaurants, storage facilities, etc.
Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in area. Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations. May maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions. Driver will be responsible for completing all pre and post trip inspections on truck and trailer accurately.
Must have the ability to lift 40lb-50lb cases continuously.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Verifies load against shipping papers.
Rotate product in customer storage coolers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Use required PPE and follow all safety guidelines of the Company.
Qualifications:
Class A CDL required with minimum 12 months of verifiable experience
Must be able to operate a manual CMV.
Must have the ability to pass a background check, drug/alcohol screen, as well as a DOT physical.
