Purpose: Plan, monitor and execute the supply of a portfolio of products to ensure inventory for assigned products is available to meet the business needs.
Responsible for the end-to-end supply plan and is the planning focal point between the country deployment planner and Global Segment Portfolio Planning Manager, providing input to and participating in the IBP process.
Accountable to deliver product availability that meets the defined customer service level and inventory strategy across the CU's.
Develop, maintain and execute a rolling 24 month supply plan based on demand plans and supply parameters including sales forecast, dependent demand, inventory strategy, upsides, and new product launches in alignment to the global and regional supply strategy.
Provide input to and participate in the IBP process presenting accurate and timely supply information. Lead regular communication of the supply plan with key stakeholders, and highlight potential supply and demand imbalances, risks or disruptions that may affect the ability to supply product to our customers
Develop and execute plans to mitigate out of stock situations to meet both inventory and customer service targets. Develop supply options when unable to resolve exceptions and ensure that action plans are developed and implemented so that planning exceptions are resolved.
In collaboration with Commercial, PPM and others in the supply chain, develop the supply strategy, inventory strategy and response plan.
Responsible for the quality and accuracy required Master data objects related to IBP, S4, Inventory and Production.
Responsible for the Order steering of active ingredients and formulated bulks. Review Supply exception messages within the planning time fence and supporting solutions or escalates supply/demand imbalances as appropriate.
Accountable for M&ISC projects as required to ensure supply timelines meet the expected launch timelines in partnership with Regional Project Launch Leader.
