Purpose:
To monitor activity on company property to ensure a drug free workplace, the safety of team member's person and property along with enforcing traffic expectations on property.
Responsibilities:
Act in accordance with the state and federal law as per departmental policies and associated training
Performs general law enforcement duties including patrolling, checking property, maintaining order and public safety
Issues traffic and parking citations per company policy
Conducts investigations
Responds to and assists in all medical emergencies.
Assists in conducting fire drills and evacuating buildings
Provides security escorts for personnel
Attends required periodi c training sessions
Performs other duties as required to meet the client's needs.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma (or equivalent) required
Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent for non-driving and 21 years of age for driving positions
Active Duty Post Certified Law Enforcement Officer required
Required licensing as necessary per state guidelines
Knowledge of law enforcement procedures
Skill and ability to follow-up with investigations
Ability to make law enforcement related decisions
Ability to communicate effectively.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the tea m member will be exposed to an office environ ment, the parking lot and possibly the production environment in case of emergencies. The production environment consists of wet and/or humid conditions and movin g mechanical parts. The noise level in the production environment is usually loud.
Applicant must also be able to do the following:
• Sitting 70% of the time and Standing 3 0%
• Workable use of both hands and able to grasp.
• Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens).
• Able to perform repetitive task.
• Able to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, and stoup.
