About the role.

What you’ll be doing.

The Packaging Operator applies technical knowledge of packaging materials and equipment to set up, operate, and troubleshoot the packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to quality specification sheets, customer satisfaction and company policy.  The Packaging Operator has the authority to place raw or finished product on hold if a quality attribute is not met. 

A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. 

What you’ll need to be successful.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience working in manufacturing, food manufacturing strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heights
• Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (walkie-rider, forklift, etc.)

Compensation Package:  - Starting at 28.59 USD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts

The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
