Poultry Technical Specialist - HP115

Location : UK - Extensive travel

We are seeking a highly skilled poultry specialist to deliver exceptional technical support across a diverse network of farms, including both company-owned and independent sites.

This is a senior position requiring a strong track record in poultry production and the ability to provide practical, hands-on solutions to complex challenges.

In this role, you will work closely with farm managers to optimise performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. Collaboration is key as you’ll liaise with vets and nutritionists to ensure the highest standards of flock health and productivity.

The position involves significant travel and overnight stays, so flexibility and a willingness to spend time on the road are essential. The role:

• Visit farms to troubleshoot issues and provide technical advice
• Provide high level customer support to non-company owned sites
• Liaise with farm workers, farm managers, area managers and senior management.
• Work closely with specialists such as Vets, Nutritionists and Hatchery support team.
• Maintain flock records
• Ensure CRM system is kept up to date
• Represent the business at events and conferences
• Significant travel 

About you:

• Several years of experience in the poultry industry operating at a minimum of farm manager level
• Strong technical understanding of poultry production (Layers, broilers or breeders acceptable)
• Able to troubleshoot complex production problems and provide solutions
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and people of all levels of the business
• Willing to travel extensively with regular overnight stays
