The Senior or manager Sales Executive plays a fundamental role in driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives across all our product lines. Under the general supervision of the Sales Leader, this position collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Quality Control, Purchasing, Marketing, Logistics, and company executives. It is essential to maintain a solid network and proven success in selling fresh products, particularly within the green onion segment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and increase Altar Produce’s market share in vegetables, with an emphasis on green onion.
- Build strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and foodservice buyers.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and business reviews for clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Accurately and promptly enter and manage sales orders.
- Collaborate with Operations and Quality Control to ensure customer product specifications are met.
- Coordinate with Logistics and Finance teams to guarantee timely delivery, billing, and account reconciliation.
- Represent Altar Produce at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Analyze customer data to identify growth opportunities and enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in customer engagement and product offerings.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fresh produce sales, with direct knowledge of green onion and vegetables.

- Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal departments.
- Ability to travel as needed to support account development and attend industry events.
- Bilingual.
