Solid, growth-oriented community bank seeks Senior Agriculture Lending Lead.

• Responsible for origination, underwriting, closing and servicing loans
• Assist management in making recommendations for overall loan objective, policies and procedures
• Share responsibility of leading, developing, mentoring, acquiring and retaining team of lenders (lenders, underwriters, loan processors)
• Provide advice & guidance to others engaged in loan activity
• Represent bank through active participation in community affairs
• Market bank products and services. Use consultative approach to cultivate relationships to help clients reach their growth goals

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business, finance and/or agriculture
• Extensive experience in ag lending
• Proven track record of success in business development, client relationship management and loan origination
• Experience handling accounts of large size and/or high complexity
• Strategic thinker with the ability to lead development and execution of innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability
• Ability to acquire & retain talent, lead, train and guide banking professionals towards career advancement and loan volume & portfolio success
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to evaluate creditworthiness and assess risk factors
