What You'll Do

  • Monitor daily driver schedules, review planned activities, and submit system updates as needed.
  • Print and organize route documentation from JDA systems and ensure timely distribution.
  • Ensure drivers receive and confirm their load assignments in advance; escalate issues such as refusals, sick calls, or breakdowns to the Driver Manager.
  • Track driver movements throughout the day and proactively follow up on enroute performance and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
  • Communicate ETA updates or delays to shippers, receivers, and internal teams; coordinate appointment re-bookings when required.
  • Support drivers with day-to-day concerns such as breakdowns, load changes, ETA/PTA inquiries, or general assistance.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for commercial invoices, claims, and purchase orders (POs).
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle out-of-service data and input it into the appropriate systems.
  • Compile and distribute key performance reports, including driver scorecards and operational metrics.
  • Enter and track dunnage debits and update associated logs and databases.
  • Manage office and driver supply inventories (e.g., logbooks, seals, pre-trip forms).
  • Maintain and update SharePoint sites with transportation and analytics information.
  • Organize and file equipment documentation including pre-trip inspections, maintenance invoices, and work orders.
  • Assist in the creation of reports related to cost efficiency and performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


What You'll need:

  • Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working with data and generating operational reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with transportation management systems (e.g., JDA) is a strong asset.
  • A team-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence and customer service.
