Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst - MCS, based in Johnston, IA.

In this role, you will support our Multi-Channel Seed business.  This role is a key contact between our Supply Chain and our Commercial partners.  Primary responsibilities include monitoring demand/allocations, executing orders, creating deliveries, and invoicing products.  In collaboration with our scheduling and quality teams, you ensure timely delivery of quality seed to our brands and customers.  In addition, this role will lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to maximize service levels and customer experience.  Through this role you will also gain an understanding of other processes within Supply Chain such as quality, distribution, scheduling, master data, and finance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and participate on innovative teams to enhance business processes to support supply chain effectiveness

  • Monitor key metrics to measure performance toward objectives

  • Key communication contact between MCS Commercial Teams and Seed Production and Supply Chain Teams

  • Ensure demand is fulfilled based on priorities to meet current segment targets or quarterly objectives.

  • Provide support, direction, and works closely with Brand Supply Chain teams

  • Works with Brand Supply Chain team to manage brand allocations, packaging signals, and support sales order management

  • Key contact for Master Data setup

  • Collect and enter Dealer orders for Seed Applied Technology orders

  • Assimilate large volumes of information; analyzing data to identify trends; summarizing findings; and making recommendations

  • Participate on cross functional teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Agricultural related fields

  • 4 - 6 years of agriculture, supply chain, or operations experience

  • Working knowledge or ability to learn Excel, Access and SAP systems

  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work closely with peers in a team environment

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills 

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and coach

  • Experience in planning, assessing, and implementing change

  • High level of issue identification, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Strong analytical and financial skills

 

Estimated breakdown of daily responsibilities and time allocation:

  • Oversee/Support Ordering Process (20%)

  • Package Matching as Scheduling & Quality Progress Throughout Season (25%)

  • Reworks, Recalls, and Return Order Execution (20%)

  • Master Data Material Requests/Setup (10%)

  • Manage cross-functional Seed Applied Technology & Wheat Orders (15%)

  • End-of-season packaging alignment (5%)

  • Seed Productivity Initiatives (5%)
