Warehouse Team Lead Mill Operator

Job Requirements

• Communicate with the Plant Manger & others in the office
• Interact with retail seed customers in a professional manner
• Meet Operational goals set by Plant manager
• Adapt as needed to unforeseen circumstances
• Troubleshoot problems
• Operate seed cleaning equipment as needed
• Maintain consistent quality of grain products
• Clean and Load / Unload grain trailers
• Coordinate with Plant Manger shipping and receiving of grain products
• Be willing to work in dirty, hot, and cold weather.
• Clean and load grain bins.
• Willing to work in confined spaces as well as high rise environments.
• Able to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues that arise.
• Willing to work OT/weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• College, High school or equivalent
• Agriculture experience or machinery operations
• Mechanic and metal fabrication experience preferred
• Vehicle service and maintenance skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs., sit, stand, bend at the knee and waist for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work irregular schedules during peak periods

Work Environment

Processing Plant environment. Frequently required to enter areas that have cold and wet conditions, high dust levels, moderate to extreme levels of noise, and heights in excess of 50 feet. Safety equipment appropriate to the work environment is provided.
